Create a custom, online class for your child in any subject.
Get matched with an extraordinary teacher for, live, online 1-1 tutoring.
How it Works:
Request your class (subject, time, start date, special considerations).
Get matched with a great teacher: We’ll match you with an exceptional, highly trained teacher ideally suited to your child’s needs. All teachers are vetted and trained in-house and get ongoing support from child life specialists.
Start your class on your preferred start date (after 24 hours): Receive a zoom link and start learning as early as 24 hours after making your request or on your requested start date at your requested time. Your downpayment will go towards your first week of class and you will not be billed again until your second week of class.
Change at anytime: Change your teacher, subject, or times at any time with 24 hours notice.
Our exceptional teachers are highly trained in the most innovative teaching techniques: inquiry-based learning, child-centered communication, mastery learning and best practices for online teaching. In addition to your main teacher, each class is supported by a dedicated life specialist assigned to your child to offer you and their teachers support in their learning journey.
Don’t see exactly what you’re looking for? Feel free to specify python coding, zoology, Italian, digital media arts or any special subject you’re look for and we’ll match you with an amazing teacher/mentor to meet your unique needs.
Nuts and Bolts:
When you request a class, we match you with an experienced tutor within 24 hours. You will be send a bio and video of your teacher. You can request to be matched with a different tutor at any time.
Payment:
Subscriptions are billed weekly. Your initial downpayment will cover the first week of class. After you make your initial downpayment upn registration, you will not be billed again until the second week of class, whether that’s next week or a month from now.
Tutoring hours:
Tutoring hours can be divided into any blocks you like. For example: 20 minutes 3 times a week, 30 minutes 2 times a week or 2 hours at a time. Families can reschedule or cancel at any time with 24 hours notice.
Pricing:
1 hour a week: $60/hr
2 hours a week: $55/hr
3 hours a week: $45/hr
4 hours a week: $40/hr

All subscriptions include membership in our amazing slack community of families and teachers re-inventing education.
