Play the Forest School Way

For a nature-based curriculum that can be led by a parent while allowing the child to participate in certain activities independently, we recommend Play the Forest School Way. Play the Forest School Way is an open-ended nature-based curriculum focusing on connecting children with nature while learning skills through crafts, games and other activities. It was inspired by the need for children to interact with their environment in ways that build self-esteem, social skills and confidence. Play the Forest School Way lays out a variety of activities for topics such as Nature Explorers, Forest Arts, Survival Skills and Wildlife Team Games. Parents love the easy to follow layout that encourages the whole family to get outside and learn while having fun. Parents also comment that it is practical while also encouraging imagination. Some parents feel that some of the activities are culturally insensitive and underwhelming.
