Mosdos Press: Textbooks for visual learners

ELA

Mosdos Press Literature Series provides textbooks with original visuals to go along with stories and poems, helping visual learners. Modos Press is a non-profit group of educators, curriculum specialists, and parents that wanted to write books that were age appropriate for children. They want to instill positive values into their students.. The store sells textbooks, workbooks, student books, but also tests for students to work on. The stories have original art pieces to go along with the story, which can help students remember the story.. Parents can purchase a textbook and go over stories and concepts with their parents. Afterwards, students can work on worksheets. If parents wish to test their students, they can also purchase the exam sheets to gauge their child's progress., Parents love that the stories are short, allowing their children to not feel overwhelmed or as exhausted as a chapter book. They also seem to like the ideas and concepts that the books cover, as well as the visuals that go along with., It may be hard to find the right pages between the books sometimes. Parents are finding that they usually need to help their students with worksheets as some parts are not explicitly taught in the textbook. There is some cursive, which can be hard if your child has not yet learned it., Parents should definitely go over textbook portions with their children. When it comes time for the workbooks, parents should actively try to guide their children towards the correct answer, but encourage them to think back to the story or other relevant topics that may help them answer the question by themselves..

My name is Elvin J Lin and grew up in El Monte, California. I recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and want to pursue a career in teaching. One of my dreams is to be the teacher that has a lasting impact on my students on their educational journey. Some of my hobbies are cooking new recipes and eating tasty foods, as well as gaming. I enjoy bonding over interests that my students enjoy talking about and just being able to see the excitement in them as we talk about the things they love.
