Racism & Me: A Workshop for Kids

October 20, 2020 @ 11am PT/2pm ET

All Ages Welcome. (Groups will be divided into PreK, Elementary and Teen)

About the workshop

Does your child have questions about racism? Are they trying to understand what it means or why it happens? Looking for answers on what they can do? Take part, in a safe setting where they can do just that. The three facilitators Danielle, Joshua and Vivek are child advocates and social justice educators. Join us as we divide into groups by age to discuss racism, social justice and how your child can contribute to making the world a better place. This will be a child led event where kids can ask questions they may have and engage in the conversation that many do not know how to have.

Please note this meeting will be recorded and available for the general public to view. If you do not want your child's image recorded, please be sure to hide their video.

Date: Tuesday, October 20
Time: 11am Pacific/2pm Eastern Standard
COST: FREE
