Self-expression is so important for children, especially during these potent times of global change and social awakening. Join poet and novelist, Dr. Christine Gardiner, for a weekly writing workshop for middle school students (5th-8th grade). Kids will read exemplary poems, be given a short writing exercise centering around an element of craft, and have the opportunity to share their writing and get feedback in a safe and supportive setting.
Please note that this workshop will be recorded and may be used to create educational videos to help kids—regardless of location, economic status, and/or educational access—benefit from these lessons in creative writing and self-expression. By signing up, you agree that your child’s image can be used in the videos we will be distributing after the workshop.
Date: Every Friday @10am
Time: 10-11AM Pacific Time / 1-2 PM Eastern Standard Time
Ages: Middle school students (5th-8th grades)
Cost: This workshop is free and open to all.
