COVID-19 update

On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) for the current outbreak of coronavirus disease, known as COVID-19. On Wednesday, 22 countries announced school closings resulting in 300 million children missing class.

If your family has been impacted by school closings, Modulo is offering our services free of charge to support parents in helping children stay on track academically during the crisis. We have an extensive network of learning specialists, teacher and parents who can help guide you through this time, offering advice on learning, childcare or providing emotional support.

Ways we can help:

Tools for learning at home: We can provide parents customized advice on choosing online and offline apps, curricula and activities keep children on track academically while out of school.

Learning specialists: Our learning specialists can provide advice to help parents find the right learning tools to fit their child’s learning style and any special needs.

Guidance and emotional support: Staying at home alone with a child can be challenging and frustrating. We can help advise parents on the best way to adapt and stay grounded during what can be a challenging transition.

Connections with experienced parents and teachers: We have an extensive network of parents who have years of experience educating their children from home. We connect parents to others who have been educating their children from home for several years and tested multiple approaches to Modular Learning.

Social connections: Parents can get connected to local meetups that happen during the day for children ages k-12th grade in parks, forests and museums - or online meetups as well.

All our services will be free of charge during the crisis. Feel free to browse our site and resources as much as you wish, or if you’d like to connect with a learning specialist, contact us here.
