Typing.com: A fun and easy tool for kids to teach themselves typing

Typing.com teaches keyboarding, digital literacy, and coding to students and can be used independently or as a classroom set. Typing.com offers lessons in multiple languages that teach students how to type and develop important digital skills. They offer series of typing games to keep children engaged and motivated. Typing.com was created to help students develop keyboarding skills, digital literacy, coding fundamentals, career prep, and more. Students complete lessons according to their typing level. The lessons assess their typing accuracy and speed and end with a cumulative assessment at the end. Typing.com also offers games to keep students engaged. Some teachers really like how Typing.com doesn't overdo their lessons with animations and colorful cartoons. The lessons are simple and engaging without being distracting. Some teachers feel that the Typing.com program itself isn't entirely robust as a stand-alone, and would work best as a supplementary program. However, we’ve found it to be more than adequate to teach kids in our program typing at Modulo.
