For a fun and engaging app that appeals to a wide variety of learners, including those with ADHD, we recommend Minecraft: Education Edition. Minecraft: Education Edition is a hands-on and STEM based approach to learning any subject which supports students of all learning styles. It is based on the popular game Minecraft and offers many free lessons from a variety of sources and subjects. MInecraft: Eduaction Edition incorporates STEM components with project based learning and allows students to use their imaginations and critical thinking skills while learning new material. Minecraft: Education Edition is a good choice for visual learners who need to directly interact with the material they are learning and for non-traditional learners. Some parents feel that the user controls are difficult to master and that it takes too much time to understand all features completely. Some students may not enjoy the more structured aspects of the app as compared to the original game. Minecraft: Education Edition is not compatible with Chrome books.
