MathTango: An Engaging Math App for learning math

This app engages kids who otherwise struggle to learn math by using math missions and personalized lesson plans to help them understand math concepts. This app teaches kids math concepts in a fun and entertaining way through math puzzles as they progress through the various difficulty levels after mastering previous ones. This app was made by 5 dedicated parents to help kids learn math. Kids complete math puzzles and missions to unlock awards that allow them to populate their virtual island. As they progress through the game, the levels become more difficult. Parents love how it engages kids with some entertaining aspects so they can have fun while learning math. Parents don't like the time it takes to complete a mission due to the other tasks included which have little to do with improving math and can be very time-consuming, such as finding creatures around the island. One parent spent over 30 minutes trying to find a creature before moving on to the next level with addition and multiplication problems. They also wish there was more practice to reinforce learning.

Grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

Cost: The app costs $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year.
