Deep Space Sparkle

Deep Space Sparkle provides resources and lesson plans for free or at a cost to teach art to kids at home. Deep Space Sparkle provides a variety of resources for teaching art with little or no experience. There are activities for grades K-6th and the projects cover all kinds of media. There are free projects for download, or you can also sign up for a membership/subscription. The CEO, Patty Palmer, founded Deep Space Sparkle while she was teaching elementary school art in California. She started by sharing her project ideas on a blog, and enjoyed inspiring teachers from around the world. There are free projects for download, or you can sign up for a membership subscription to "The Sparkles Club." There, members can access more lesson plans, videos and art resources. However, enrollment is currently on a waitlist. In the meantime, you can download a tookit and free lesson. It is good for art teachers, volunteers, studio owners, and parents who want to teach art to their own kids or a classroom full of kids. There is a waitlist to join the membership club. You need to order supplies in order to do most of the projects.
